No Child Left Behind (NCLB)

The Federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 contains specific teacher requirements that must be met by ALL public school teachers who teach "core" academic subjects to ensure there are "Highly Qualified Teachers (HQT)" in every classroom.
